I had a great time this week at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana as an artist-in-residence at Allen Hall/Unit One. Had lots of meaningful conversations with students and community members, and made some great connections. In addition to designing activities for every evening, I created a menu that was prepared by the dining staff. Over 750 students and community folks showed up. I also spoke to students at the U of I Laboratory High School and gave a presentation at the African American Cultural Center. Great time.
