University of Chicago

Join bryant at the University of Chicago for a powerful celebration of Black History Month, centered on stories of resilience and strength. Held at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts on February 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM (CST), this evening will be filled with culture, history, community, and recipes inspired by bryant’s book Black Food.

The program also includes a screening featuring two South Side staples, sharing their stories of impact, growth, and resilience. Following the film, bryant will join the student filmmakers onstage for a conversation exploring the themes brought to life in their work.
